Google: Dan Farber discovered that Google doesn't have everything. He "googled" for Darwin John, the new CIO for the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, and found very little, most likely because articles written by John were behind a firewall and inaccessible to Google.
T'was ever thus - and researchers should look at for-fee services for other leads. These won't get behind firewalls either, but there might be some mention in an article, newspaper or profile.
