Inktomi: Inktomi, the search engine used by Hotbot and MSN, has just acquired Quiver, a software company specializing in taxonomy and categorization software. The intention is to use this in enterprise information retrieval systems. Will be interesting to see if Inktomi creates a public web product as well.
