Google updates Chrome with multiple user profiles, 9to5Google (Dec 13)
New feature at Chrome lets set up a user profile to set your preferences, bookmarks etc once so that you can use them from any computer when you sign in - a kind of synchronization.
"A user profile holds your bookmarks, the sites you visited, saved forms and passwords, installed web apps and extensions and other items supported by Chrome’s syncing mechanism. "
On a shared computer there can be more than one user profile.
